Hehe okay so this was a fun night. John read a bit of TFIOS and answered questions and Hank sang and then they did a ‘Question Tuesday’ segment which resulted in Hank slapping John and Hank sang some more and then they both sang ‘500 miles’ by the Proclaimers and that was just wonderful and then the signing happened and I was so nervous but I bumped into people from my old school and we talked whilst we were waiting and they were both nervous but we were excited at the same time and I was an idiot and didn’t think to bring my Looking for Alaska so I got my notebook signed by the two of them and my ticket and obviously TFIOS but I spoke to them and thanked them for both being so inspirational to me and oh my god on the way home I was still in shock and I still am I think I cried a bit oh man so yeah I still can’t really believe it but it happened and it was much fun and I’m so glad it did happen!!!
Spent the day in the studio making prints for this year’s Project for Awesome on December 17th. Figured I’d show you how it all went down.
I don’t remember when these went on sale but they did and pre-orders were being signed so I had to get one so I asked my uncle in LA to order this and a “Holden Caulfield thinks you’re a phony” t-shirt for me because I didn’t have the money and he did and he shipped it to the UK. I got the top ages ago but the poster came yesterday and it was signed and it was so awesome.
